Building a connection with your rockstar vendor team is essential! Here's a little bit about my journey & where it all began. I began my career in 2011, quickly diving deep within the Private Event Entertainment industry I quickly found myself planning and executing events of all calibers throughout the Northeast. For the past 15 plus years my high energy approach to Private Events & attention to detail has been shared with thousands of guests throughout the East Coast. I've had the pleasure of composing and executing over 1000 Events throughout the North East from New Jersey to Rhode Island, Florida and everywhere in-between. After 6 years of success in the New Jersey area I made the transition & moved to Myrtle Beach in 2017 and graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2020 majoring in Hospitality & Resort Tourism Management focusing on Event Entertainment. I took my passion and love for Private Events with me, and after many years being apart of other top tier Entertainment organizations I have branched out to do things my way, Northern Style with a little Southern Flair. Rob Polanco—better known as DJ Rob Beats—is a Jersey Shore native with a passion for rocking dance floors up and down the East Coast. Known for his turntable skills, Rob brings the art of DJing to life through quick mixes, smooth blends, and just the right touch of scratching to keep the energy high and the crowd moving.

With years of experience behind the decks, Rob knows how to craft the perfect musical soundtrack for any event. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, or private party, he reads the room, mixes live, and brings a vibe that’s all his own.

When he's not behind the booth at private events, Rob is running sound for local nightclubs, bars, and live productions—making sure every beat hits just right and the sound is crisp and clear, no matter the event.

When booking DJ Rob Beats through Southern Flair Entertainment, all meetings are handled virtually or coordinated in person with Southern Flair’s owner, ensuring a smooth and personalized planning experience.

Fun Fact: Rob and Southern Flair’s owner, JP, go way back—they were in the same high school marching band! Rob played trumpet while JP held it down on the drumline. Safe to say, music’s always been in their blood.
